Anneliese Burns Wilson has worked professionally in dance for over 25 years as a performer, teacher and choreographer. She has 20 years experience as a studio director for herself and others. Anneliese began her company, ABC For Dance, in 1998 to create a dance curriculum that met the needs of New Jersey public schools and has expanded her material to meet the needs of private studios. Her teaching materials are now in use in over 1000 dance programs worldwide. She is a Teaching Artist for Dancing Classrooms North Texas, member of the Imperial Society Teachers of Dance, National Dance Council of America, Pan American Teachers of Dance and an International Association of Dance Medicine Sciences.

Cathy Lozano’s teaching experience spans over 25 years. She has instructed at California State University Fullerton, the Orange County High School of the Arts and at private studios in Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theater with an emphasis in dance from California State University Fullerton and is a graduate of the American Tap Dance Institute in Washington, D.C.
At The Disneyland Resort, Cathy has directed and/or choreographed The Main Street Electrical Parade, A Christmas Fantasy Parade and Blast to the Past. Cathy also served as the choreographer and show director on many Disney movie premieres such as Hercules, Lilo and Stitch, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

We will cover things like: what items in a lease are negotiable; what do some of the terms and definition mean; what to watch out for; and, what your obligations are when you sign a lease. Buying a building requires a different mindset and more work. If financing, a business plan will normally be required. Steve Barnett is the Chief Marketing Officer-Perform Group LLC (Parent Company of Curtain Call Costumes and Alpha Factor Gymnastics). Steve became a member of the dance industry in January of 2003 when he accepted a position with Perform Group, LLC. Prior to joining Perform Group Steve was the Director of Merchandise for the Sports and Entertainment Division of the Hershey Corporation. Steve has served as the CEO of a 17 store gourmet housewares chain and Group Vice-President of the 100 million dollar non-food division of Foodland Grocery. Steve has a BS in math and a BBA with a major in marketing research.

Nancy Robison Stone is the Creative Director of Art Stone Theatrical, and the Vice President of Dance Olympus/DanceAmerica and International Dance Challenge. She was born and raised in the small rural Georgia town of Jackson where she owned and operated a dance studio for over forty years. Nancy had annual shows that were always "standing room only". She had more than her share of stars in her small town studio, but the most important element of her studio was the countless number of students that left with the love of dance. She serves on the advisory board of Dancers Responding to AIDS, as well as Dance Spirit. Nancy is currently serving as National Spokesperson for National Dance Week.

Laura Mikszan - 3rd Level Presenter Atlanta - has owned and operated World of Gymnastics since 1993. She was a collegiate gymnast at the University of South Carolina, where she earned a bachelors degree in Marketing and Advertising. Laura outgrew her first facility and built a 13,000 square foot gym at her current location. Growth continued, and in 1999, World of Gymnastics Inc. underwent an expansion, increasing her building to a 21,000 sq. ft. including a separate retail shop, concession area and enhanced double story parent viewing area. In 2001, World of Cheer was opened next to World of Gymnastics to meet the growing interest in Cheerleading instruction. World of Swim was opened in May of 2004.
Carly Markesich – 3rd Level Presenter Houston earned a B.A. in International Studies at the University of St. Thomas and is a graduate from Rice University’s Leadership Institute for Nonprofit Executives. Carly began a coaching career in 1979 and in 1999 opened Discover Gymnastics. Presently, Discover serves over 1200 students each week. Classes include gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, children’s fitness, and a competitive team program for both boys and girls. Carly attributes Discover’s success to her approach to employee training. Discover hires dynamic instructors and invests time and energy in their professional development. This approach has created recognition in the community for quality of programming and services. The financial success has allowed Discover to offer attractive salaries and to attract and retain motivated and professional employees.
Frank Sahlein - 3rd Level Presenter Chicago - has been involved with the Childrens Activity Center industry since 1967 – as gymnast, martial artist, coach, business owner, consultant and business broker. He pioneered the Children’s Learning Opportunity Center (CLOC) concept – a unique blend of sports instruction, child care & education, entertainment and outreach, culminating in the WINGS Center (est. 1974). These management systems allow the Wings Center to run with minimal owner time. They are a template for children’s activity centers, and 3rd Level Consulting is sought out for consulting, expansion, management, valuation and brokerage services. He has received the National Business Leader Award from USA Gymnastics twice. Frank has delivered business presentations for USA Gymnastics, the US Swim School Association, the Curtain Call Dance Studio Pro Seminars, and various cheerleading associations.!

Anita Fox has been a part of the hospitality industry for over 25 years. Originally with the Mears Transportation Group, she worked for over 10 years in sales, specializing in group transportation and travel. Anita now works for Four Seasons Tours in Orlando, Florida where she manages travel and tour needs of youth groups. Anita is a member of SYTA, the Student Youth Travel Association, and has the opportunity to work with and gain knowledge through various contacts within the travel industry.
