Saturday Session: For the School Owner

Staying Afloat in a Down Economy
It's been a long time since America's economy has been in the downslide we’re seeing at the start of this dance season. For many school owners, this is the time to initiate creative business concepts that might ease them through difficult financial times. Attendees will explore new programs and curriculums and learn how to evaluate their current financial picture to discover which parts of their businesses are really making a profit.

Avoiding Burnout
Over the last few years, the number-one advice question asked by dance school owners is, "Can you tell me how to figure out what my business is worth?" Many school owners love to teach but can't deal with the stressors of parents’ complaints, the need to be organized, and the daily grind of the non-dance–related aspects of their businesses. If you’re just about ready to shout, "I can't take it anymore!" this exciting, motivational seminar is for you. You will gain new insights on how to avoid stress by being on top of your business and setting policies that cover all the bases. And most important, you'll regain the passion that inspired you to open your school in the first place.

The last hour of the Project Motivate seminar will be dedicated to a business Q&A session.

Sunday Session: For the Teacher

More Than a Dance Teacher
This session will explore the impact of your teaching style on your success in the classroom. Rhee Gold's philosophy is that it isn't merely the steps and technique you teach that make you a success; it is also the mental and emotional influence you have on every child who dances through your classroom. What you say and how you say it are as important as the technical aspects of dance training. By the end of this session you'll feel a rejuvenated passion for your classroom and students.

Choreography 101
All dance teachers need inspiration that boosts their creativity in order to be innovative choreographers, whether they’re working with preschool kids, a recreational teen class, or competition dancers. Rhee Gold offers ideas and leads discussions that offer attendees the chance to explore choreography in a whole new way.

The last hour of the Project Motivate seminar will be dedicated to a business Q&A session.
